- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen products with 5+ year vision horizons
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Develop patent strategies and IP frameworks for future-facing technologies
- Create scenario-based models for technology adoption and market disruption
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives with 5+ year timelines
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., biotech, space tech, Web3)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology roadmap development and execution
