Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR) for strategic adoption opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for breakthrough collaborations
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development for future-facing innovations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and scaling disruptive solutions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization or roadmap implementation
