Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and validate disruptive technologies
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify market opportunities
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and strategic partnerships
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Develop patent portfolios with 15+ filings annually
- Mentor next-gen engineers through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies with $5M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or sustainable tech
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) or equivalent patents
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and venture capital funding
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud architecture (AWS/Azure)
