Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology strategy roadmap for 2026+ market readiness
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop patentable IP portfolios and competitive advantage frameworks
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Establish industry partnerships and academic collaborations for R&D acceleration
- Mentor emerging talent in future-focused technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies and patent strategy
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong network connections with global tech innovation ecosystems
