Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and sustainable implementation
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proofing methodologies and trend analysis techniques
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2020+ tech adoption track record
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotechnology
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications (e.g., MIT Tech Review, IEEE Spectrum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related futurism discipline
- Experience building technology roadmaps with 5+ year implementation horizons
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating commercialization of futuristic concepts
- Fluency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
