Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze market data and competitor landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and key stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive innovation through hackathons and experimental project incubation
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and their strategic implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Track record of launching products with >$100M market impact
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
