Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AGI, neuro interfaces)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for pilot projects and R&D partnerships
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
- Build and lead a specialized futurist research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation leadership
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Experience managing global R&D partnerships
