Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with organizational vision for 2026 market readiness
- Lead research and adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized systems)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into current development pipelines
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future-tech implementation strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Monitor regulatory landscapes affecting technological innovation in key markets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
