Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with commercial potential by 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering and product teams to align on future capabilities
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry conferences and policy forums
- Build competitive intelligence frameworks to track global tech innovation ecosystems
- Advise executive leadership on technology adoption risks and ethical implications
- Manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on future-tech forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CTOs on technology transformation
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and futures research frameworks
