Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Develop patentable intellectual property and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators and cultivate a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or platforms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience securing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and partnerships
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented innovations
