Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships
- Ensure compliance with evolving global tech regulations (GDPR, AI Ethics Frameworks)
- Mentor junior strategists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record launching tech products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Experience with scenario planning and future trend analysis
- Strong financial modeling and ROI projection skills
- Certifications in TOGAF, PMI-ACP, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
