Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with C-level executives to outline the strategic technology initiatives, software upgrades, and hardware integrations required for the next three years.
- Emerging Tech Evaluation: Conduct in-depth research and PoCs (Proof of Concepts) on emerging technologies, such as Generative AI, Blockchain, and Edge Computing, to determine feasibility and ROI.
- Architecture Design: Design scalable, resilient, and secure system architectures that support future growth and evolving user demands.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a diverse team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors to secure the best tools for our infrastructure.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all long-term technology strategies adhere to data privacy laws and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, system engineering, or technical leadership roles within the tech industry.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to translate high-level business goals into actionable technical roadmaps and project plans.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Futuristic Knowledge: Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies relevant to the 2026 timeframe, including AI/ML integration and quantum computing concepts.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
