Responsibilities
- Architect scalable solutions for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype 2026-era products with 18-month development cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning of global tech trends and patent landscapes
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with UN SDG 2030 targets
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Maintain strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and NASA JPL
- Present findings at Davos, Web Summit, and IEEE Future Tech conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Biotechnology (or equivalent industry breakthroughs)
- 10+ years in tech architecture with 3+ product launches at scale
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or AGI safety frameworks
- Proven track record of securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Fluency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2025+ technology implementations
