Responsibilities
- Design and prototype scalable solutions for 2026's technological landscape (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D projects combining biotechnology, nanotechnology, and distributed systems
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients anticipating 2026 market shifts
- Secure and manage $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private innovation funds
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists, engineers, and data scientists
- Present breakthrough concepts at global summits (Web Summit, CES, TED)
- Author white papers on emerging tech ethics and policy frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or Bioengineering with 8+ years of R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (3+ patents or acquisitions)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private research funding
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
