Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy spanning quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and product managers to prototype breakthrough technologies
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, biotech, nanotech) to identify commercial opportunities and risks
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI decision-making processes
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including investors and government bodies
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation across experimental technology projects
- Publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or emerging technology development
- Proven track record in quantum computing, AI ethics, or neurotech innovation
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology forecasts and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional analytical skills for complex systems modeling and scenario planning
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced research environments
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 technology journals
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified government partnerships
