Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies and assess commercial viability for 2026+ markets
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum computing labs, AI research centers, and metaverse pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation specialists
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing commercialization strategies for disruptive innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, spatial web, or neuromorphic computing
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
- Published thought leadership on technology forecasting (whitepapers, patents, or conference talks)
- Experience scaling technology innovations from concept to enterprise deployment
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, Foresight Practitioner)
