Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across quantum computing, AI, biotech, and advanced materials
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation initiatives with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology due diligence for potential acquisitions and partnerships
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record developing and executing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards on strategic technology topics
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems and venture capital community
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
