- Conduct competitive analysis and patent intelligence to identify first-mover opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in virtual labs and test environments
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board with data-driven scenarios
- Build and lead an innovation think tank of domain experts across tech and business
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of launching products based on future-tech trends
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with futurism focus
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Strong data modeling and scenario planning skills using tools like Gartner Hype Cycle
- Published thought leadership on technology disruption (papers, patents, keynotes)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
