Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track ROI on experimental technologies
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and startups for collaborative R&D
- Author thought leadership content on future technology trends and ethical implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, blockchain, or biotech
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong financial acumen for technology investment valuation
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation (e.g., CFTE, FTI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
