Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging fields including quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Build scenarios for technology adoption impacts on global markets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, blockchain, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong network of innovators across Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
