- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions with 3+ year horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed impact projections
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring long-term technology adoption success
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Proven track record of translating technology trends into business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting
- Strong executive communication abilities with C-suite presentation experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
