As a key member of our Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethicists, and sustainability pioneers to shape products that will define the next decade. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, possesses multidisciplinary expertise, and is passionate about solving humanity's most complex challenges through technological innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in global tech ecosystems
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Present technology insights to C-suite executives and board members using data-driven scenarios
- Drive adoption of sustainable tech practices across product development lifecycles
- Mentor junior futurists and establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least two future-focused products/services
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems using predictive analytics
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies) preferred
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or leading tech publications
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding or government innovation grants
