Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Establish KPIs for technology ROI and innovation maturity tracking
- Mentor emerging technology specialists and foster innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record launching at least two cutting-edge products/services
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains (e.g., AI governance, neurotech, sustainable computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
