Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and develop strategic adoption roadmaps for 2026-2030
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical capabilities with market opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology gap assessments for emerging markets
- Develop patent strategies and innovation frameworks for next-gen solutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage technology risk assessments and ethical compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven experience in developing future technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published research or patents in technology innovation (highly valued)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
