Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for 2026 deployment
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics) for commercial viability
- Partner with R&D to incubate disruptive innovations through to pilot phase
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and investors on future tech opportunities
- Monitor global tech policy shifts affecting 2026 implementation landscapes
- Build ecosystem partnerships with academia and startups for talent/IP acquisition
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year horizons
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience scaling teams for exponential technology adoption
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for future technologies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and tech forecasting methodologies
