Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological convergence (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning emerging technologies with business objectives
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build external partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in future technologies
- Experience scaling high-impact teams in startup/growth environments
