Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with global market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neuro interfaces) and assessing commercial viability
- Collaborate with venture partners to identify and acquire breakthrough startups in future-tech domains
- Design innovation frameworks for sustainable tech integration, ensuring ESG compliance while driving competitive advantage
- Present strategic technology briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Secure patents and IP protection for proprietary future-tech innovations
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and government research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, with 5+ years focused on future-tech or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with $50M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD or MBA preferred
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems and forecast technology adoption curves
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and navigating regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in Technology Strategy (e.g., CTS, TOGAF) or equivalent professional credentials
