Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology innovation roadmap with 3-5 year vision
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Partner with product teams to align technology investments with market opportunities
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI tracking of innovation initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage external relationships with venture capital firms and research institutions
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech evaluation (blockchain, AI, IoT, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of technological convergence and disruptive innovation cycles
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to quantify intangible tech opportunities
- Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive decision-making
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
