Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 3-5 year market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration into product portfolios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech priorities
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for tech adoption curves
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite with data-driven ROI projections
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept to prototype validation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience forecasting tech trends and translating to business strategy
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data sets
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management abilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy
