Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-month predictive horizon
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Architect innovation frameworks for sustainable tech integration and circular economy applications
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype breakthrough solutions and validate market viability
- Present strategic recommendations to board and C-level executives with data-backed insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for future tech scouting
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and adaptive technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercialized products
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or sustainable tech architecture
- Executive-level experience with market forecasting and competitive analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, whitepapers, keynotes)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary R&D budgets >$50M
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Strategy preferred
