- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Lead strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
- Translate complex technological concepts into executive-level insights
- Oversee pilot programs for experimental technologies
- Build and mentor a team of technology futurists
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives
- Exceptional analytical and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
