Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market readiness
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions through agile methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and secure buy-in for innovation initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia for collaborative R&D
- Monitor global tech policy developments and ensure compliance with future regulatory frameworks
- Quantify ROI projections for emerging technologies and justify resource allocation to leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching successful technology initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and securing multi-million dollar budgets
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS AI/ML, Google Cloud AI) highly desirable
