Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for emerging domains
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure R&D budgets for next-gen initiatives
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Monitor regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven impact in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, biocomputing, or climate tech
- Experience scaling R&D initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Strong track record in securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Certification in futures forecasting or strategic foresight (preferred)
