Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026 technology foresight strategy through market research, trend analysis, and stakeholder interviews
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3.0 developments
- Collaborate with product teams to prioritize R&D investments for 2026 market readiness
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Develop risk mitigation frameworks for emerging technology adoption and implementation
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future technology implications and strategic opportunities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven expertise in forecasting tech trends and developing long-term innovation roadmaps
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and innovation communities
- Portfolio of successful technology strategy implementations or published foresight work
