Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational goals
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and their commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI on innovation initiatives
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies and foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech trends: quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) or foresight methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic technology transformations
