Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology adoption strategy covering quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative R&D
- Lead scenario planning for technological disruption across healthcare, energy, and manufacturing sectors
- Present quarterly innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $3M annual R&D budget allocation for emerging technology incubation
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 15+ novel tech applications annually
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of scaling innovation from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Policy
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, NSF)
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (SWOT, PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international stakeholder engagement
