Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess strategic implications for our business
- Develop and maintain a 3-5 year innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify opportunities for disruptive product development
- Analyze competitive landscapes and technological disruptions across global markets
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven impact projections
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and scaling emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and future trend analysis methodologies
- Strong technical background in at least one high-growth sector (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience with strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy)
- Certification in innovation management or technology foresight preferred
