Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI integration, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs to prototype breakthrough solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Analyze emerging tech trends (neuromorphic chips, decentralized AI, climate tech) to identify strategic opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for next-generation innovations
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in launching at least two disruptive technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in government/private innovation grants
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
