- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Build patent portfolios and IP strategies for emerging tech applications
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business growth objectives
- Develop future-state scenarios and mitigation strategies for technological disruption
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching commercialized tech innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, IoT, or synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to boards and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Strong network with VCs, academic institutions, and tech incubators
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
