Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy focusing on 2026 market readiness
- Lead research initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across 3-5 concurrent projects
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Document intellectual property and file strategic patents
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching commercialized innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, generative AI, or neurotech
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across continents
- Deep understanding of ethical tech frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills
