Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Establish innovation frameworks to evaluate and integrate breakthrough technologies
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives and market disruption
- Build and lead cross-functional innovation task forces with R&D, product, and commercial teams
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor competitive landscapes and geopolitical factors affecting tech evolution
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, advanced materials, or Web3
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- Strategic certification (e.g., CSTM, TOGAF) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (2020-2025)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
