- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate futuristic solutions into core business operations
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive market shifts and regulatory impacts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and investor stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year ROI projections
- Mentor teams on future-proofing methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products or services
- Certification in futures thinking or strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, APF)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley's tech ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Prior experience scaling teams for exponential growth phases
