- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurointerfaces) and assess commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and R&D prioritization
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future tech initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape research for emerging domains
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline progress and ROI
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into development cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with 80%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology adoption frameworks
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
