Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AR, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Develop strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech innovators
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting future tech landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in future-tech planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ year vision horizons
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in future-tech publications
