Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry predictions and market gaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype AI, quantum, and biotech integration solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present future tech frameworks to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 18-36 month adoption windows
- Design scalable implementation frameworks for emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning with 3+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Deep expertise in AI, blockchain, quantum computing, or neurotech applications
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or venture capital
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Impact Assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy
