Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive trends for 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain the company's strategic technology roadmap with 18-24 month execution plans
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence across emerging domains (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech capabilities into commercial offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build and manage relationships with academic institutions, venture capital firms, and innovation labs
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to measure strategic technology adoption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing, etc.)
- Proven experience translating complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize disparate data points
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization or market creation
- Certification in emerging tech or strategic foresight preferred
