Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory implications
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Drive R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching commercialized emerging tech solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum applications, decentralized systems
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI assessment
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents/articles)
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree in technology/strategy
