Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) with 2026 market viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 5-year technological forecasts
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and investors
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on tech evolution
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, product development, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (2018-2023)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and market modeling tools
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CSFP preferred)
