Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligning with global market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, IoT)
- Establish strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for emerging domains
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee $15M+ R&D budget allocation for experimental projects
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers on future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products (portfolio required)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, ACM, or equivalent journals
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI forecasting
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for APAC market expansion
