Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption strategies
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers positioning Innovate 2026 as a future-tech authority
- Manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Build and mentor a high-performing future-tech analysis team
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps with measurable impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Experience in managing strategic partnerships and ecosystems
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFIP, CMI) preferred
